1. Introduction

Data4AI ("data4ai.io", "we", "us", or "our") understands the importance of your personal information. We will protect your personal information and privacy in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. This Privacy Policy applies to all services provided by data4ai.io.

Please read and fully understand this Privacy Policy before using data4ai.io services. If you do not agree with the contents of this policy, please stop using data4ai.io services immediately.

2. Information Collection

We collect the following types of information:

  • Registration Information: Your email address, used for account registration, login verification, and important notifications.
  • Project Data: Projects, tasks, and file directory structures you create, used to provide project management services.
  • Voice Data: Audio data from your voice input, used solely for speech-to-text recognition and is not stored.
  • Log Information: Service runtime logs, including task execution records and error logs, used for troubleshooting and service improvement.
  • Device Information: Basic information such as browser type and operating system, used for service compatibility assurance.
  • Advertising Data: To support our free services, we use Google AdMob SDK to display advertisements. AdMob and its advertising partners may collect device identifiers (such as advertising ID), usage data, and other information to serve personalized ads. For details, see Section 10 below.
  • LLM Configuration Information: Your Large Language Model (LLM) configuration details, including API keys and model settings, are collected solely for the purpose of executing tasks via your Claude Code or Codex CLI.

3. Information Use

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

  • Providing, maintaining, and improving the core service features of data4ai.io
  • Sending verification codes, service notifications, and security alerts
  • AI Agent task execution for code generation and modification
  • Monitoring service runtime status to ensure service security and stability
  • Complying with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Displaying advertisements through Google AdMob SDK to support free service offerings

4. Information Sharing

Except in the following circumstances, we do not share your personal information with any third party:

  • Authorized Partners: To the extent necessary for service functionality, we may share information with the following partners:
    • AI service providers (for code generation and speech recognition)
    • Email service providers (for verification code delivery)
    • Google AdMob (for displaying advertisements — see Section 10 for details)
  • Legal Requirements: As required by laws and regulations, for litigation or dispute resolution, or as requested by administrative or judicial authorities.
  • Security Necessity: As necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of data4ai.io, other users, or the public.

5. Information Storage

Your personal information is stored on servers located outside the People's Republic of China. We take reasonable security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Data transmission using TLS encryption (HTTPS/WSS)
  • Encrypted storage of sensitive data
  • Strict access control and permission management
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability remediation

When you use voice input, AI text refinement, memory extraction, or project generation features, your data may be transmitted to AI service providers located in China (including but not limited to speech recognition and large language model services) for processing. AI Agent features use your configured large language model and do not involve cross-border data transmission to our service providers. We ensure these providers meet appropriate data protection standards.

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with services. Beyond the retention period, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.

File and Image Retention: Uploaded images and files are automatically deleted after 7 days. This retention period applies to all user-uploaded content, including but not limited to project images, task attachments, and other files. After 7 days, both the file and its metadata will be permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable laws and regulations, you have the following rights:

  • Right of Access: You have the right to access your personal information and understand how we process your data.
  • Right of Correction: You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right of Deletion: Under certain circumstances, you have the right to request deletion of your personal information.
  • Withdraw Consent: You have the right to withdraw previously given consent, after which we will cease the corresponding data processing activities.
  • Account Deletion: You have the right to delete your account. After deletion, we will remove your personal information within a reasonable period.

8. Minor Protection

data4ai.io services are primarily intended for enterprises and developers. If you are under 18 years of age, please read this policy under the guidance of your legal guardian and use data4ai.io services only with their consent.

We do not actively collect personal information from minors. If we discover that personal information of minors has been collected without the consent of a legal guardian, we will delete such information as soon as possible.

9. Third-Party Advertising SDK

To support our free services, our application uses the Google AdMob SDK to display advertisements. AdMob and its advertising partners may collect the following data for ad delivery and personalization:

  • Device identifiers: Such as advertising ID (Android) or IDFA (iOS), used to identify your device for ad targeting.
  • Usage data: App interaction data, such as pages viewed and features used, used to serve relevant advertisements.
  • Device information: Device model, operating system version, screen resolution, network type, etc.
  • Location data: Approximate location (coarse location) may be used for localized ad targeting.

These third-party advertising partners may use the collected data to:

  • Serve personalized advertisements based on your interests and behavior
  • Measure ad effectiveness and attribution
  • Build audience profiles for ad targeting across apps and websites

You can manage your ad personalization preferences through the following methods:

  • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → opt out of "Ads Personalization"

10. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be published on data4ai.io. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or other prominent means.
