VRT — Vertiv

Electrical Components & Equipment · Industrials

Vertiv traces its history back to 1946, when its founder Ralph Liebert developed an air cooling system for mainframe data rooms. As computers began entering commercial applications in 1965, Liebert developed one of the first Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units, capable of precise temperature and humidity control. The company gradually expanded its data center product portfolio through internal product development as well as acquisitions of condensers, busway and switching products for thermal energy and power management. Vertiv currently operates globally; its products can be found in data centers across most regions of the world.
