It operates through the following segments: North America Copper Mines, South America Mining, Indonesia Mining, Molybdenum, Rod and Refining, Atlantic Copper Smelting and Refining, and Corporate and Other. The North America Copper Mines segment operates open-pit copper mines in Arizona at Morenci, Bagdad, Safford, Sierrita, and Miami, and in New Mexico at Chino and Tyrone. The South America Mining segment includes Cerro Verde in Peru and El Abra in Chile.
